Hobart Service, a leading provider of commercial food equipment service solutions, is seeking a skilled Service Technician II to join our team. As a Service Technician II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot and repair commercial food equipment
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Meet or exceed weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
Requirements
  • Accredited High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of similar electrical and mechanical experience
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
  • Ability to work overtime and on-call as required
  • Ability to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH

  • Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder
  • Occasional roof access may be necessary through extension ladders or fixed ladders greater than 20 feet
  • Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
  • Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull
  • Move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
  • Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
  • Operate machinery and/or power tools
Working Conditions
  • Office facility and customer facilities (including commercial kitchens of various types of businesses)
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet dirty conditions may occur
  • Travel requirement up to 50% of time
