Job Title: Software Engineering Manager, Bidding

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Bidding & Decisioning team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading one or more engineering teams and managing the technical vision for our platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead one or more engineering teams, manage, mentor, and coach team members to help them reach their highest potential
  • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Marketing peers to define the direction for your platform and build the roadmap for your team
  • Own the technical vision for the team's systems, including the full lifecycle of ML models in partnership with the science team (including data and feature engineering)
  • Use significant depth and breadth of technical expertise to ensure platforms being built are scalable, maintainable, and extensible
  • Own all aspects of effective, iterative delivery of roadmap product features

Salary Estimate: $180,000 - $250,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including designing large-scale systems leveraging big data
  • 4+ years of managing a high-performance engineering team
  • Experience with Java and/or Python, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems
  • Experience partnering closely with data science/machine learning teams, working through the full lifecycle of ML models
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders alike
