The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist/Certified to join our team in the Core Lab. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing in a fast-paced academic medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical laboratory testing, including blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis
- Maintain a quality of service based on accuracy and timely result reporting
- Work in a dynamic environment with multiple testing sites within the organization
- ASCP certification or eligibility within first 6 months
- BS in MLS or related field
- Excellent multitasking, computer skills, customer service, and troubleshooting abilities
