Key Responsibilities- Parts Ordering: Place parts orders for shop and operations personnel, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
- Supply Chain Management: Order shop supplies, truck parts, trailer parts, equipment parts, Ready Mix, and Aggregate plant parts, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Inventory Control: Process part returns, core credits, and warranty parts, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing losses.
- Inventory Management: Issue purchase order numbers, enter coding information, and stock out inventory parts to work orders, units, and jobs.
- Logistics and Shipping: Ship, receive, pickup, and deliver parts to designated locations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.
- Inventory Audits: Assist with inventory counts, monitoring non-moving inventory, and establishing and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Communication: Effectively use communication tools, including internal software programs, to ensure seamless collaboration with coworkers, management, and vendors.
- Operational Support: Assist with stocked inventory items and quantities, and complete tasks as requested by supervisor.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and operate a forklift.
- Driver's License: Must possess a current valid driver's license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in parts procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
