Position Overview

We are seeking a Chief Financial Strategist to become a vital part of our dynamic team in the finance sector. The successful candidate will take on a pivotal leadership role in financial decision-making that impacts our organization and will provide strategic financial insights to senior management. By meticulously overseeing the entire accounting process, the Chief Financial Strategist will be instrumental in formulating and executing financial protocols to enhance and sustain the financial well-being of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Propel the organization's financial planning and performance by evaluating its outcomes and risks.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of the company's financial status and proactively address potential issues.
  • Establish and manage the organization's financial IT infrastructure.
  • Set objectives for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors, etc.).
  • Oversee all auditing and internal control functions.
  • Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and cultivate relationships with partners and investors.
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive reports on financial performance quarterly and annually.
  • Conduct analyses to generate forecasts and report findings to upper management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
  • Implement strategies to foster business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute plans for budgeting, forecasting, and business intelligence systems.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Review all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer, finance officer, or in a relevant role with a minimum of 10-15 years in a senior financial management position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software.
  • Ability to strategize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An analytical mindset, comfortable with numerical data.
  • CPA certification is a significant advantage.
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
