We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Inc. (GLFHC). As a Family Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive and continuing care to patients requiring routine and emergency treatment.
- Diagnose disease processes and provide medical treatment to patients at community health centers, hospitals, schools, and shelters.
- Oversee and provide direct medical care to patients, including referrals to other providers as needed.
- Participate in patient care audits for quality assurance and utilization review to maintain and improve patient care standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records on assigned patients.
- Stay current with medical knowledge and best practices through regular attendance at medical conferences, seminars, and continuing education programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Board certification or eligibility in an appropriate specialty and a current medical license in Massachusetts.
- Residency completion in good standing.
- Excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Demonstrated work ethic of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
