Job Overview

At Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Elevator Apprentice Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing elevators, VRCs, and Rack and Pinion systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced technicians in maintenance, repair, and installation of elevators, VRCs, and Rack and Pinion systems.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks.

Requirements
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use industry-specific software.
