Job SummaryEntegee is seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls to produce high-quality aerospace components.Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls according to engineering specifications and instructions.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tool holders for given jobs.
  • Run similar jobs of short cycle times for extended periods where manufacturing processes are stable.
  • Read and interpret engineering instructions, travelers, blueprints, geometric tolerances, and principles.
  • Operate one to two machines at a time depending on job complexity.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of Vertical or Horizontal CNC Lathe machining experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
  • Knowledgeable of in-process inspection techniques and precision measuring devices such as micrometers and verniers.
  • Familiarity with programming code, canned cycles, threading & boring jaws, and making program edits.
  • Understanding of metal characteristics in a production setting.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of manual machines.

Entegee offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
