Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist

At Phoenix Manufacturing Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality aerospace parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to blueprint specifications.
  • Inspect work completed on CNC milling machines for conformance to specifications using bench gauging.
  • Follow Standard Work in all aspects of work, including CNC milling machine setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
  • Perform light preventative maintenance tasks on CNC milling machines to maintain machinery performance and prevent machine downtime.
  • Report any safety violations, machining equipment misuse, and/or improperly performed work to supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education. Skilled Trade Certification, preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in AS9100 and ISO environment.
  • Experience with Fanuc and/or CNC controls.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) a plus.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. The pace is rapid and dynamic, multi-task oriented with short notice/changing deadlines. Accuracy and thoroughness/follow-through are very important.
