Summary: Seeking Lathe Machinists to set up and operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls for aerospace manufacturing.

Job Requirements:

• 7-10 years of Vertical or Horizontal CNC Lathe machining experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.

• Knowledgeable of in-process inspection techniques and precision measuring devices such as micrometers and verniers.

• Familiarity with programming code, canned cycles, threading & boring jaws, and making program edits.

• Understanding of metal characteristics in a production setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of manual machines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls according to engineering specifications, instructions, GD&T, and operation sheets.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tool holders for given jobs.

• Run similar jobs of short cycle times for extended periods where manufacturing processes are stable.

• Read and interpret engineering instructions, travelers, blueprints, geometric tolerances, and principles.

• Operate one to two machines at a time depending on job complexity; occasionally operate more than two machines based on skill level.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
