A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated Practical Nurse (LPN or LVN) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious Fortune 500 organization, providing a pathway for career advancement. The position is full-time, requiring 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role is $30.41. Comprehensive benefits are available to full-time employees after a specified period of employment.

Highlights of the Position:

This is a contract role with the potential for permanent placement based on attendance, performance, and organizational needs. The required schedule includes three 10-hour shifts during the week, along with alternating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver holistic, evidence-based care that encompasses accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health issues, health counseling, and planning for patient disposition.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Administer immunizations and injections, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and TB, while providing patient and parent education regarding vaccines.
  • Assess patients during the intake process and monitor vital signs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs and retinopathy screenings.
  • Execute point-of-care testing, including COVID testing.
  • Facilitate patient registration and intake, assist with waiting room management, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Order necessary equipment and prepare the clinic environment for optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid LPN or LVN license.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mandatory attendance for the initial period of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record documentation.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and conduct point-of-care testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
  • Successful completion of a FIT test and compliance with respirator protocols when required.
  • Phlebotomy certification or experience is preferred; if lacking experience, successful completion of internal training is necessary.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings is advantageous.
