Job Title: Assembly Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team at ISC Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling equipment and repairing machinery to ensure the functionality and reliability of our machines, drives, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements and specifications.
  • Inspect equipment and run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components, and replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.
  • Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, such as repair of hydraulic systems, painting, etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or Assembly Technician.
  • Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
  • Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and practices, and read instructions and blueprints.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety guidelines, and excellent communication skills.
  • A problem-solving ability, and excellent physical strength and stamina.
  • A high school diploma is preferred, and certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a definite plus.
