Job Summary

ISC Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling equipment and repairing machinery to ensure the functionality and reliability of our machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to specifications and requirements.
  • Equipment Inspection and Diagnostic Testing: Inspect equipment and run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to maximize equipment efficiency and lifespan.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Cleaning and Lubrication: Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear.
  • Fluid and Component Replenishment: Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Consultation and Training: Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Log Keeping and Reporting: Keep logs of work and report on issues to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanic or Assembly Technician.
  • Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
  • Skills: Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers).
  • Ability: Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
  • Commitment: Strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Communication: Very good communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving ability.
  • Physical Strength: Very good physical strength and stamina.
  • Education: A high school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a definite plus.
