POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary focus of this role is the maintenance and refurbishment of hydraulic systems utilized in aircraft. This position offers opportunities for cross-training in various operational areas. Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending the English language is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within team environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct testing, disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of hydraulic aircraft components. Be prepared to work overtime and on holidays with minimal notice. Adhere to specific customer instructions and requirements. Comply with all organizational procedures and protocols. Follow safety and security regulations diligently. Support departmental functions, engage in cross-training, and perform additional tasks as required. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance at work.REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals for components. Competence in understanding technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and flow charts. Exhibit self-motivation and reliability. Demonstrate proficiency with standard hand tools. Utilize torque wrenches, micrometers, dial calipers, and multimeters effectively. Capable of standing and working for extended periods. Lift, move, push, and pull weights up to fifty (50) lbs consistently. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Foster professional relationships and collaborate with colleagues respectfully and tactfully. Resolve workplace conflicts and differences professionally to meet objectives. Encourage a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving. Actively listen and process information effectively. Promote a trustworthy, honest, and socially responsible work environment while supporting a positive workplace culture.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent qualification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of one year of experience in hydraulic mechanics. This role necessitates drug testing and a criminal background check in compliance with FAA regulations. Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant certification. Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation, manuals, and blueprints.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Engaged in continuous work within a manufacturing or production setting. Involves frequent walking, standing, and handling heavy objects throughout the workday. Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends is required.BENEFITS:
