Registered Pharmacy Technician - Call Center Supervisor- Oversee the call center pharmacy technician team, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Serve as the primary resource for technician inquiries and issues
- Supervise the training and professional development of pharmacy technicians
- Contribute to the formulation of daily operational policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage team schedules and workflows to align with client processing requirements
- Evaluate and approve technician schedules based on order processing demands
- Conduct interviews, facilitate training sessions, and monitor staff proficiency
- Assign and oversee training schedules, ensuring timely completion
- Assess staff performance and quality to identify improvement opportunities
- Address prescription processing challenges and IT service requests
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to technicians
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and policy revisions
- Handle customer service escalations and order reviews in a timely manner
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve program metrics
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in the healthcare or pharmacy sector
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
- Experience in non-commercial pharmacy settings
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and demonstrate efficient typing skills
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Proficiency in various software applications
