About This Role

We are seeking an Instructional Design Lead at Bright Horizons Children's Centers to join our team. As an Instructional Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of learning experiences that drive business results. This role requires expertise in instructional design, user experience research, and adult learning principles.

You will lead internal project intake processes, assessing how learning can meet business needs and recommending solutions that support performance and behavior change. You will also design innovative solutions to close knowledge and skill gaps through learning and advanced use of technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal project intake processes to assess business needs and recommend learning solutions.
  • Design innovative solutions to close knowledge and skill gaps using learning and technology.
  • Develop learning materials, including eLearning modules, PowerPoint presentations, and job aids.
  • Apply instructional design and user experience methodologies to create optimal learner journeys.
  • Assist with continuous course maintenance and improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Adult Education, Psychology, or Marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate learning design, user experience research/design, instructional design, curriculum development, graphic design, or equivalent.
  • High proficiency in training technology and experience developing multi-media-based training.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform various tasks on a collaborative team.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,000 per year
