Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise children at Saddlebrook Kids Club and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Interact and engage with children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Intervene in disciplinary situations and report incidents to the site director or assistant director.
  • Assist with snack service and clean-up duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with state regulations and record personal in-service hours.
  • Take direction from the site director and assistant director as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the qualifications set by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, including up to 12 in-service hours each school year. You will also be required to have an annual health examination form and felony statement on file.

In accordance with the Department of Health and Human Services and the Omaha Public Schools Foundation, staff are not required to be immunized but it is highly recommended.
