This role will directly support the Revenue Accounting Manager and assist in the crucial functions of order processing and invoicing for our diverse range of services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine customer agreements (both domestic and international) to ensure accurate subscription configurations and develop billing timelines.
- Facilitate prompt invoicing for new and ongoing customer agreements while striving to minimize billing discrepancies and adjustments.
- Regularly assess and enhance billing workflows and practices to boost efficiency, quality, and overall productivity.
- Manage, investigate, direct, and resolve customer inquiries regarding invoicing as needed.
- Perform account reconciliations when necessary and collaborate closely with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and the Revenue Team to address invoice-related concerns.
- Establish strong working relationships through effective communication.
- Provide necessary documentation for audit processes.
- Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing; experience in SaaS B2B or similar detailed industries is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and multitasking abilities.
- Capability to interpret and analyze sales contracts.
- Exhibit professionalism in handling conflicts, shifting priorities, and high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow.
- Ability to foster relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
- Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP, Zuora, and Supplier Portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) is advantageous.
