Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Mechanic to join our team at Precision NDT LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for applying industrial coatings to fabricated metal products, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate blast pot and nozzle equipment to prepare parts for painting/fabrication.
  • Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products, utilizing instrumentation to measure painting parameters.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and HazMat Procedures.
  • Report malfunctions of equipment or processing to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to pass a basic physical with physician.
  • Ability to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test for respirator wear.
