We are seeking a skilled Precision Mechanic to join our team at Precision NDT LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for applying industrial coatings to fabricated metal products, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate blast pot and nozzle equipment to prepare parts for painting/fabrication.
- Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products, utilizing instrumentation to measure painting parameters.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and HazMat Procedures.
- Report malfunctions of equipment or processing to the supervisor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods.
- Ability to pass a basic physical with physician.
- Ability to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test for respirator wear.
