Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Determine what welding equipment and methods to use based on requirements
Set-up components to specifications
Prepare and align parts for welding
Join components, repair holes and cut through materials using specialized welding equipment
Inspect surfaces and structures
Maintain equipment.
Attend and participate in daily morning safety meetings, pre-lift meetings, and any other safety meeting held onsite.
Must be able to pass weld test to procedure required by customer.
Must be able to pull measurements and have basic knowledge of pipe fitting.
Must be able to read isometric drawings and have knowledge of piping materials.
Must label welds with stencil provided by customer.
Must transfer heat numbers to all pipe pups that are cut.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirement(s)
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
Must be able to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to pass a basic physical with physician.
Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test for respirator wear.
