Medix is seeking a skilled Medical Scribe to join our team in a physician's office near the Katy & Memorial areas. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals by accurately documenting patient information and assisting with clinical decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Review patient charts and documents to obtain a comprehensive understanding of patient conditions and treatment plans
* Effectively communicate with healthcare practitioners to ensure seamless patient care
* Document special requirements and treatments, including medication and diagnostic procedures
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including ICD10 and CPT coding

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
* 1+ year of experience as a Medical Scribe in a fast-paced healthcare environment
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other computer systems

**Schedule:**

Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm, with flexibility to work 3-5 hours of overtime per week
