Job Overview:
As a Biomedical Technician II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of medical equipment within healthcare facilities. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient care through effective service delivery and maintenance of biomedical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to service requests to assess, troubleshoot, and execute repairs on complex biomedical equipment.
2. Conduct planned maintenance (PM) and safety inspections, fostering strong relationships with clients.
3. Adhere to and guide others in compliance with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
4. Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain proactive communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
5. Implement and uphold GE Healthcare and customer facility contracts, aligning with business objectives.
6. Mentor and support fellow technicians in both basic and advanced repair tasks.
7. Participate as a vital member of the local team, ensuring efficient service across all assigned accounts.
8. Share on-call responsibilities and document all service actions in accordance with established schedules.
9. Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring proper calibration and care.
10. Stay informed on current standards and regulations related to medical equipment usage through ongoing education.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical equipment service; or equivalent military training with relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in the field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to clients.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted, and perform various physical activities such as bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Good hand and finger dexterity, with specific vision capabilities including color vision and depth perception.
- Willingness to work after hours or participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed.

Quality Assurance:
- Familiarity with the GE Healthcare Quality Manual and compliance with quality management policies and regulations.
- Complete all required quality and compliance training within specified timeframes.
- Promptly report any quality or compliance concerns to the appropriate department.
