Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Lehigh Regional Medical Center. As a member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification and/or ENPC.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
