The hospital provides a range of specialty care services, including Emergency Services, Cardiology, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Nephrology, and Orthopedics, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice
  • Directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
  • Communicating with physicians about changes in patient condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology
  • Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current and valid state RN license
  • A current BLS certificate
  • Completion of a Critical Care Course (preferred)
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care experience preferred
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification (preferred)
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (preferred)
