We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plaza Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our gondola dining cabins and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, sanitize, and clean gondola dining cabins to ensure safe and secure service to guests
  • Perform general clean-up and semi-skilled light labor, maintenance, and grounds keeping work for the Town of Mountain Village
  • Assist with minor maintenance activities, including painting, oiling, staining, and waterproofing of public benches, light posts, signage, fences, and trash cans
  • Monitor public restrooms and public trash rooms for cleanliness and report issues to supervisor
  • Operate a variety of vehicles and light duty equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Experience cleaning, gardening, and use of common hand tools used in landscaping and snow removal preferred
  • General computer skills working with email
  • Possession of a valid Colorado State Driver's License is preferred but not required

  • Seasonal employees receive retirement options offered by Colorado PERA, 48 hours of sick pay, and have a 4-day work week
  • Seasonal employees are also eligible to obtain a ski pass (winter) through Telluride Ski and Golf resort as a taxable benefit
  • Additional benefits include an end of season bonus and holiday pay
