Position: Clinical Laboratory Technician
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Days
Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and manage blood, tissue, and other biological samples from patients
- Prepare specimens for standard testing and evaluation
- Accurately document results for future analysis and reference
- Oversee inventory of samples and laboratory supplies
- Ensure a sanitized and organized work environment
- Operate under the guidance of a certified medical technologist
Required Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certification
- High School Diploma and Covid Vaccination
- Prior experience in a laboratory environment
