Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Nursing for Perioperative Services will oversee the day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, physician partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives at both Downtown and Community Hospital Peri-Op departments. This role assumes overall responsibility for implementing the organization's vision, mission, plans, and standards of patient care services within their defined areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management and evaluation of clinical operations, customer and staff satisfaction, quality management, standards, certification, and accreditation activities.
  • Nursing staff education and developing community relationships.
  • Reports to the Executive Director or Deputy Director of Nursing with latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements:
  • NYS licensed/registered or eligible RN required.
  • Minimum of 7 years post-acute care RN experience including 5 years of nursing management experience in a health care environment required.
  • BSN and Master's degree in Nursing or health-related field required.
  • Experience should include relationships with medical staff, health planning, quality management, human resource development, and management required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nursing Executive certification upon appointment or obtained within 2 years of appointment is preferred.
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, Days
