Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As the leader of the Surgery/Anesthesia team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive pre-operative anesthesia assessments.
  • Calculating and administering appropriate drug dosages.
  • Ensuring the secure intubation and maintenance of patient airways.
  • Monitoring anesthesia levels using various techniques and equipment.
  • Performing venous catheterization and assisting with advanced procedures.
  • Interpreting vital physiological parameters and making necessary interventions.
  • Managing post-operative recovery and pain assessment.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid Registered Veterinary Technician license.
  • Experience in companion animal anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • The ability to adapt and learn new techniques quickly.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a Monday to Thursday schedule, featuring 4/10 hour shifts.

Compensation:
The starting pay for this role ranges from $38 to $43 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure.
