- Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates.
- Provide coaching and feedback to sales associates to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
- Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee recognition.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Manage customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is accurately counted and recorded.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and improve stockroom efficiency.
- Manage the receiving, processing, and stocking of merchandise.
- Financial Management
- Manage the store's budget and financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and reduce costs.
- Manage cash handling and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure.
- Education
- A two-year post-secondary education and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
