Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to sales associates to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
    • Manage employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee recognition.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
    • Manage customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is accurately counted and recorded.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and improve stockroom efficiency.
    • Manage the receiving, processing, and stocking of merchandise.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the store's budget and financial performance.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and reduce costs.
    • Manage cash handling and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure.
Requirements
  • Education
    • A two-year post-secondary education and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills
    • Proven leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
