International Event Manager
Oversee the comprehensive logistics and planning for a variety of events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. A key focus of our online event strategy is the effective management of our registration system, which includes:
• Development, quality assurance, and deployment of event invitation emails and landing pages
• Management of the invitation list
• Coordination of attendee check-in and distribution of surveys
• Adherence to global and regional data privacy regulations
• Conducting WebEx Event UI walkthroughs, rehearsals, and presenter coaching
• Reporting on registration, attendance, and key performance indicators
Additional Responsibilities:
• Management of meeting requests for internal visibility across functions
• Scheduling of events
• Venue selection in accordance with procurement guidelines
• Communication with internal teams utilizing standardized templates
• Arranging and confirming accommodations for group attendees
• Designing function spaces
• Ordering audio-visual equipment and internet services
• Managing catering requests
• Printing name badges and tent cards
• Facilitating the shipment of event supplies between offices, suppliers, and venues
• Budget oversight and reconciliation
• Compiling and reporting on event outcomes
• Participation in team meetings and event briefings
• Ensuring event safety, security, and operational excellence by adhering to best practices
• Maintaining timely, accurate, and effective communication
• Performing other marketing event and administrative duties as required
Required Skills:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in organizing and managing high-quality events.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams, as well as vendors, focusing on event operations, safety, security, and guest experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail while managing tight deadlines.
• Experience in handling multiple concurrent projects with a collaborative mindset.
• A strong passion for teamwork and dedication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in event planning.
• Ability to ensure the highest quality of service and responsiveness to feedback.
Educational Background:
• A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Relevant training or certification in safety, security, or event production is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Keynote and Pages is required.
• Experience with registration management systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, including WebEx Webinars, is preferred.
• This position reports to the Ad Platforms Marketing Events team.
