Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage retail and commercial deposits by ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed.
  • Process check cashing, savings withdrawals, and cash advances while verifying authorization and compliance with established limits.
  • Utilize computer systems to monitor account activities, check balances, and address customer inquiries.
  • Support night depository operations, including logging and processing deposits, and issuing receipts.
  • Promote the Bank's additional products and services, directing clients to appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Issue cashier's checks and manage safe deposit box access for customers.
  • Handle stop payment requests and process loan payments efficiently.
  • Conduct daily cash drawer reconciliations and ensure accuracy in vault transactions.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues within your authority.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports as required.
  • Answer phone calls and route inquiries to the correct personnel.
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial reports and audits.
  • Process traveler's checks, ATM deposits, and correct deposit slips as needed.
  • Support vault operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Preferred experience in cash handling and customer service
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
    • Proficient in basic ten-key calculations.
    • Capable of following instructions provided in various formats.
    • Strong verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to positively represent our organization to clients and colleagues.
    • Competent in basic arithmetic operations.
    • Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts.
Work Environment: This role requires regular indoor work in a shared, climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position include the ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive hand motions, and communicate effectively. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light objects may be required. Regular use of office equipment such as computers, telephones, and copiers is expected.
