Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Program Quality Engineer to join our team in the Recognizance and Indicator Friend or Foe product lines.

As a Program Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This includes applying statistical techniques, trend analysis, and continuous improvement tools to identify and address potential issues early on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning to address quality issues and improve process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize product quality.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality training programs for employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with statistical process control, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9145.
  • Internal auditing experience.
