As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a dynamic team that plays a critical role in the delivery of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to sort, scan, and stack packages on pallets, ensuring that they are accurately and efficiently processed for delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and sort inventory with precision and accuracy
- Use technology such as scanners, computers, and handheld printers to process packages
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity and quality standards
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, with the ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around the warehouse
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, if applicable
As an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate, you can expect a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment. You will be working around moving machinery, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts. The temperature in the warehouse can vary between 60°F and 90°F, and you may be required to wear protective gear to ensure your safety.
