Investor Advice Solutions encompasses Schwab Wealth Advisory, Centralized Service & Operations, and the Tax, Trust, and Estate Group. Schwab Wealth Advisory offers a premier, fee-based, and non-discretionary investment advisory service that fosters a personal relationship, specialized service, and continuous guidance grounded in Schwab's investment philosophy.

The Centralized Service & Operations team supports Fixed Income and Schwab Wealth Advisory clients as the client-facing phone teams. The Tax, Trust, and Estate Group addresses intricate wealth management requirements through our Planning and Wealth Strategy teams, providing specialized products to meet income generation, risk mitigation, and liquidity needs.

As a Senior Manager, Wealth Advisor, you will collaborate with clients to formulate a comprehensive wealth strategy and deliver ongoing guidance that aligns with their objectives and adapts to life changes.

Senior Managers, Wealth Advisors operate as fiduciaries within Schwab Wealth Advisory, Inc. (SWAI), a registered investment advisor and an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

You will provide ongoing guidance to clients through a virtual relationship, with opportunities to engage with your assigned market and clients. SWAI's advisory philosophy will enable you to leverage a wide range of holistic wealth management products as you assist clients with larger and more sophisticated portfolios and wealth planning needs. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Personalized Approach:

  • Creating a comprehensive, tailored portfolio and offering advice designed to meet clients' individual goals while adapting to evolving needs.

Complete Wealth Management Strategy:

  • Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring Investment Policy Statements that define investment goals, preferences, and risk tolerance based on Schwab's investment philosophy.

Experienced Team:

  • Building strong collaborative relationships with Schwab Branch business partners and financial planners while maintaining and expanding an assigned practice of high-net-worth clients.

You will have access to the tools, resources, and support necessary to thrive in a portfolio management environment.

Specifically:

  • Client relationship management software that facilitates seamless client interactions.
  • Financial Planning software tailored for customized, client-focused portfolio solutions.
  • Access to third-party and proprietary research to support advisory recommendations.
  • Ongoing training and a commitment to your professional development.
What You Have
  • CFP designation or CFA designation required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license required (may consider a 90-day COE).
  • 66 license required (may be obtained with a 120-day COE).
  • Five or more years of advisory experience required.
  • Five or more years of direct client interaction in the financial services industry highly preferred.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
