School Psychologist Position

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This role is onsite and ideally suited for a full-time candidate; however, part-time candidates will also be considered.
As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies, and providing individual and group counseling to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Advocate for students' mental health needs within the school environment.
- Provide training and support to school staff on mental health awareness and intervention strategies.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid licensure through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GAPSC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
