Sign Language Interpreter for Georgia Virtual School

VocoVision is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpretation services to students in the state of Georgia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and confidential sign language interpretation services remotely.
- Conduct interpreting sessions effectively, ensuring clear communication between deaf or hard of hearing individuals and hearing individuals.
- Collaborate with clients, agencies, and other professionals to ensure a smooth interpretation process.
- Utilize technology platforms and equipment to facilitate remote interpretation sessions.
- Active certification from a sign language interpreting program.
- Georgia EIPA of a 3.5 or higher.
- Minimum of two years of professional sign language interpreting experience in schools.
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, with strong expressive and receptive skills.
- Proficient in using video and audio-conferencing platforms, interpreting software, and related technology tools.
- Fully remote position.
- Paid fully for direct and indirect services.
- Paid weekly.
- Guaranteed hours and pay on both direct and indirect services.
- 1099 Contract position.
