Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Concierge to join our team at Ascent Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their guests, ensuring a 5-star experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Represent Ascent Property Management and the Association by greeting residents, guests, and other visitors at the front desk in a welcoming and professional manner.
    • Answer telephones or address people who enter the lobby or approach the front desk to politely answer questions, provide information, and assist in accordance with rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist residents with issues or problems that do not require direct management involvement.
    • Monitor activity in the lobby and, when necessary, coordinate on-site personnel to address residents' and guests' needs.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain the appearance of the front desk area, lobby, and main elevators by assuring it is organized and clean at all times.
    • Summon the janitorial or maintenance staff when needed.
    • Document reports of disturbances that occur and evaluate the situation to contact the proper authority.
  • Technology and Communication
    • Utilize property-specific systems to track and retain resident information, including package logs, key logs, guest sign-in, and amenity reservations.
    • Document reports of incidents according to established procedures.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work cooperatively with co-workers, contractors, and a diverse group of residents, homeowners, and guests.
    • Communicate effectively with co-workers to assure a smooth transition of shifts.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of face-to-face customer service in the hospitality industry or property management, preferably in an upscale hotel, retail, or fine dining.
  • Skills
    • Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written communication.
    • Ability to understand and properly interpret and apply the Association's governing documents, rules, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, contractors, and a diverse group of residents, homeowners, and guests.
    • Ability to interact professionally and humbly with all residents, guests, and contractors.
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Ability to learn and proficiently operate property management software applications.
Working Conditions

The Residential Concierge will work in a dynamic office environment with the potential for rapid changes in deadlines and priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and business needs.
