Node Development Product Engineer

Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Node Development Product Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for transferring and introducing the DRAM node from Technology Development to our ID1 fab, including yield ramp, cost reduction, and quality improvement to production/manufacturing level.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable New Process Node Startup: Qualify, ramp, and enable new process node startup, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing processes.
- Provide Direction to Development Teams: Lead development teams using thorough knowledge of process integration, ensuring efficient and effective implementation.
- Develop and Apply Feedback: Develop and apply feedback on new technologies, driving innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with Internal Engineering Groups: Collaborate with Design, Technology Development, Design for Test, and Quality teams to understand yield issues and priorities.
- Support Design Verification and Validation: Support design verification and validation using CAD tools and simulations, ensuring high-quality designs.
- Perform Electrical Failure Analysis and Yield Improvement: Perform electrical failure analysis and yield improvement using data and bench testing analysis, driving continuous improvement.
- Identify Design Marginalities and Recommend Design Solutions: Identify design marginalities and recommend design solutions for circuit-related problems, ensuring optimal design performance.
- Apply State-of-the-Art Engineering Equipment: Apply state-of-the-art in-house engineering equipment to support product characterization and electrical failure analysis.
- Identify Causes of Low Yield and Apply Statistical Tools: Identify causes of low yield through systematic analysis and apply statistical tools for detailed data analysis, driving yield improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Equivalent: Possess a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent, with a strong foundation in process integration and design.
- Effective Written and Spoken Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good Organizational Skills and Decision-Making Ability: Possess good organizational skills and the ability to make decisions in complex situations, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and recommend design solutions for circuit-related problems.
- Strong Presentation Skills: Possess strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-Motivation and Enthusiasm: Demonstrate self-motivation and enthusiasm, with a strong desire to drive innovation and improvement in the field of process integration and design.
