About the Role

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating business relationships with customers in the DC Metro Area North.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing material to develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in the territory.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets to develop and maintain long-term value-based relationships.
  • Prospect and Grow the Business: Focus on prospecting to grow the business and introduce new products and updates to customers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with inside sales, customer service, production, and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Degree or two-plus years of sales experience, hunter sales mentality, motivation as a self-starter, automotive background/knowledge, integrity, and honesty.
  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Competitive starting base salary of $60k to $75k, opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses based on growth within the territory, plan to move to full commission and maximize earnings, medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, flexible-spending accounts, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, nine paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), 401(k) with a company match program, and shares in the ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program).
