Job Overview

GEM Freshco LLC is excited to announce the launch of our Plant Floater Trainee Program. This initiative is designed for individuals eager to gain comprehensive knowledge of our manufacturing processes and achieve expertise across various departments within our facility.

As a Trainee, you will progress through a structured program that enhances your skills and increases your hourly wage, along with step bonuses as you advance. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to pursue further career paths, including roles such as Lead, Trainer, or Shift Supervisor.

Compensation: $12/hr. - $18/hr. + Benefits, Training Bonuses, Target Annual Bonus, and Paid Time Off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive training in multiple areas of the plant, including Packaging, Filler, Shipping, Quality Control, and Blending.
  • Adapt to daily assignments based on operational needs, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling.
  • Maintain general sanitation practices throughout the facility.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet plant demands.
  • Effective communication skills, with proficiency in the English language.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Physical Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods, walking, sitting, and using hands for various tasks. Employees may need to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: The work area is not climate-controlled, and the noise level is typically moderate.
