Physician - Transplant Infectious Disease Specialist

We are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician with expertise in Transplant Infectious Disease to join our team at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in Infectious Diseases, with a focus on Transplant Infectious Disease.
- Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations, including seeing transplant recipients and candidates.
- Rotate through General ID, Transplant ID, and Academic Services.
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Fellowship Trained in Infectious Disease
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
- Experience managing solid organ transplant recipients, including heart, lung, and kidney transplant recipients, as well as Ventricular Assist Device Related Infections.
