Role Overview:

As a Cashier at Bachman's, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers directly on the sales floor and at the registers, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Executing all store transactions in accordance with established protocols, including processing returns and managing transfers.
  • Upholding the store's aesthetic by performing general cleaning tasks, tending to plants, dusting, pricing, stocking, and arranging merchandise displays.
  • Assisting with customer carryout and retrieving shopping carts.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone as necessary.
  • Delivering prompt, accurate, and friendly service to both existing and potential customers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and write in English, along with basic mathematical skills.
  • High energy and a demonstrated capacity to follow through on tasks.
  • Previous experience with cash registers is preferred.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Position requires standing and walking on hard surfaces for the duration of the shift, with a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequently bending.

Work Schedule:

Flexible scheduling options are available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
