Appearance Standards:

Maintaining a professional appearance is crucial in creating a positive impression. Our guidelines prohibit unnatural hair colors, visible offensive tattoos, and excessive piercings. This list is not exhaustive, and exceptions may apply based on departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

The Cocktail Server plays a vital role in delivering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests throughout the venue, ensuring a memorable guest experience.

This position is part-time with two shift options:
- Overnight: Shift starts at 12am until 8:30am.
- Day: Shift starts at 8am until 4:30pm.

Flexibility to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

The company-provided Cocktail Server uniform includes a corset top, satin mini-skort, fishnet hosiery, and knee-high boots (boots not provided).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking guest orders, serving beverages, and processing payments in a courteous and efficient manner while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction in assigned areas and assisting in other areas as needed.
  • Complying with state liquor laws and Alcohol Awareness Certification (AAC) training guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar and service areas at all times.
  • Following beverage control procedures.
  • Adhering to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly reporting any concerns to management.
  • Fostering positive relations with guests and team members.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in food or beverage service, preferably in a high-volume setting. A certificate in Mixology is preferred.
  • Ongoing participation in Alcohol Awareness Certification training is required.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary for job responsibilities, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to create an atmosphere that encourages guests to return, providing each guest with a positive and memorable experience.
  • Must present an image of enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage items is required.
  • Accuracy in cash transactions is necessary.
  • Compliance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies is expected.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment is fast-paced, often crowded, and noisy. Employees may be exposed to environmental factors associated with a casino setting.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds are required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Preference in employment practices is given to Native Americans, with first preference to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job requirements.
