Job Summary

Torchy's Tacos is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing a Damn Good experience for our guests by serving drinks, managing the bar area, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a Damn Good experience for every guest
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to Torchy's recipes and standards
  • Manage the bar area, including opening and closing responsibilities, and maintaining a clean and presentable environment
  • Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
  • Complete opening and closing responsibilities, including maintaining a clean and presentable bar area
  • Mix creative cocktails and follow Torchy's recipes
  • Understand and abide by state alcohol-server, Food Handling, and Torchy's policies concerning alcohol consumption and safety procedures
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout your shift using our point of sale system

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a restaurant bartender
  • A current required state alcohol-server license (TABC, TIPS, ABLE, etc.)
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
