Overview

At Youth Villages, we are dedicated to helping troubled youth and families live successfully. Our team of experienced professionals provides an array of counseling and treatment services to youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems.

Responsibilities

As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families. This will include:

  • Managing a small case load of four to six families to provide quality counseling
  • Meeting with youth and families three times weekly to address each family's needs
  • Providing after hours support to youth and families utilizing a rotating on-call schedule
  • Collaborating with youth, family, teachers, and other community members working towards the success of the youth
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in a social services field (such as social work, psychology, or counseling)
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
  • A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for work purposes
