Position Overview

As a key finance team member, you will support all facets of Cash Management, Compliance, and Corporate Finance activities. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Executing cash functions across various company systems
- Overseeing the money pool process and cash accounting within the Treasury department
- Assisting with cash forecasting, letters of credit, and financing processes as required
- Compiling monthly and quarterly corporate finance reports, including reports for senior management and investor relations
- Engaging in various projects and performing additional duties as assigned, while identifying and leading initiatives to enhance, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties* Assess the daily cash position for Vistra Corp. and its subsidiaries * Manage the money pool process, including preparation and reconciliation of transactions for daily and monthly reporting, along with settlements of reimbursements * Prepare and submit annual FBAR filings * Review and analyze intercompany governance, ensuring compliance with processes, systems, and organizational objectives * Initiate and release Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) * Conduct bank verifications to meet SOX requirements * Collect financial data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed * Collaborate with accounting and finance colleagues to enhance the accuracy and quality of financial reporting; work with auditors during audits * Prepare documentation for new issuances, amendments, and related reporting for letters of credit and guarantees * Provide analytical support for assessing financing needs and exploring new financing and refinancing opportunities * Oversee term loan and revolving credit assignments * Conduct quarterly reporting of key metrics and health reviews for the bank group * Assist in developing models to evaluate financial transactions involving equity, debt capital markets, bank facilities, derivatives, project finance, and leases * Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to SEC Reporting; review and comment on drafts of 10-K and 10-Q filings; maintain various schedules and reports as supporting documentation * Generate monthly and quarterly reports for the executive team, including quarterly earnings releases and other relevant documentation * Ultimately responsible for enhancing and developing Vistra's liquidity and cash forecasting model under the guidance of the Sr. Treasury Operations manager * Support due diligence processes to ensure timely, complete, accurate, and relevant information is presented by company management Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline * 5 - 8 years of relevant experience * Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in G/L debits and credits * Proficient corporate financial and modeling skills * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, both written and verbal * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in a dynamic environment * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Experience in the energy sector is preferred
