Warranty Claims Specialist

Camping World is seeking a highly skilled Warranty Administrator to support our Service Department.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships between customers and our store team.
• Respond to incoming telephone calls and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist Service Advisors in scheduling service appointments according to our scheduling policies.
• Greet all incoming customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist Service Advisors in writing up incoming customers' work orders.
• Obtain any necessary warranty or customer authorization prior to working on units, including taking photos, faxing in for authorization, or following prescribed procedures in manufacturer's warranty policy and procedure manuals.
• Follow up on all warranty receivables to ensure timely payment, contacting customers as needed to schedule appointments for special order parts.
• Fill in as needed as a service dispatcher.
• Participate in training as prescribed by management.
• Assist technicians as needed with diagnosis, authorization, or repairs.
• Follow up on open work orders according to our dealership's policy.
• Follow all rules, regulations, and laws regarding the movement of dealership-owned or customer units.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Acknowledge all guidelines and policies as described in our company policy handbook.
• Maintain a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
**Requirements:**
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of RV experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Working knowledge of proper and safe equipment use.
• Excellent organizational and sequencing skills.
• Working knowledge of Service Department activities, methods, procedures, and policies.
• General knowledge of product installation activities.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner over the phone and in person.
• Ability to accept additional tasks, duties, and/or direction from management.
• May require bending, climbing, and kneeling to take photographs of various areas of an RV.
• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
**Compensation:**
The pay range for this role considers several factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay. The variable compensation estimated annual range is $10,000 - $25,000.
**Pay Range:** $16.25-$19.31 Hourly
