Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Develop and execute short and long-term business plans and strategies to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of Department Managers, providing guidance, direction, and developmental opportunities to ensure the success of our laboratory operations.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
- Quality and Compliance: Work closely with quality leaders to improve processes, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain the integrity of our data.
- Financial Management: Prepare and submit accurate forecasts, manage working capital, and make informed decisions to achieve business objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans, aligning our laboratory operations with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, with exposure to analytical testing, stability, extractables and leachables, and biologics; minimum 10 years of management experience, leading a team of 40-50 employees with 3-6 subordinate exempt-level managers/supervisors.
- Skills: Strong business and commercial acumen, technical leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills; ability to analyze and resolve operational, finance, and business issues; proven track record of success in managerial, technical, and operational competency.
