Job Summary

Maintains quality and quantity of core and mold washers throughout the Foundry and Core Room in a timely manner.

This role is responsible for ensuring proper wash is in appropriate barrels throughout the plant, maintaining accurate records of wash distribution, and ordering materials as needed to replenish supply.

Additionally, this position involves cleaning and maintaining equipment, observing safe vehicle driving operations, and following job work instructions and training matrix.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and/or one month of related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper wash is in appropriate barrels throughout the plant.
  • Maintain accurate records of wash distribution to various Foundry accounts.
  • Order materials on an as-needed basis to replenish supply.
  • Clean and maintain equipment as necessary.
  • Observe safe vehicle driving operations.
  • Follow job work instructions and training matrix.

Work Environment:

The employee will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat.

Physical Demands:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
