About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Support Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Strongsville. As a Support Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development in children.
  • Relationship Building: Foster genuine relationships with each child, helping them build confidence and a love for learning.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Work with your co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded education for our students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Child Development: Observe and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Early Childhood Education Certification: Hold a valid certification in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Experience Working with Children: Have experience working with children in a educational setting, preferably in a preschool or kindergarten environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
